THE END-OF-SEASON RESET

Your boat worked hard all summer. Give it a proper send-off.

Don't leave waterline stains, grime and worn-looking surfaces for next spring. We can clean the interior, exterior, hull and pontoons while they're accessible. Choose what needs attention; we'll quote the work around your boat and pull-out plans.

Interior end-of-season cleaning

Address dirt, debris, spills and everyday buildup on vinyl, seats, flooring and accessible storage areas. Heavy stains or mildew may need extra work.

Exterior wash & waterline cleanup

Wash reachable exterior surfaces and assess scum lines, mineral spotting and heavier lake residue. The scope depends on how much buildup is present.

Pontoon acid washing

When boats are out of the water, stained aluminum toon surfaces may be easier to access. Acid washing is assessed and priced separately for the material and condition.

Wash & wax protection

A wash and wax can be added when appropriate to help leave exterior surfaces cleaned and protected before storage. Not every finish is ready for wax without correction.

Oxidation correction & polishing

Faded, chalky gelcoat may need compounding and polishing rather than another ordinary wash. Restoration is quoted separately from routine detailing.

A GOOD TIME TO ADDRESS BUILDUP

The right time to tackle stained toons and stubborn waterlines.

Summer can leave dark waterlines, stained aluminum and stubborn buildup behind. Once your boat is pulled out, those hard-to-reach areas may be easier to clean. It's a smart time to address them before the boat is covered.

We check the material, condition and access first. Heavy buildup, oxidation correction and aluminum acid washing are separate services and not automatic parts of a basic fall wash.

PLAN AHEAD FOR PULL-OUT

Reserve your fall pull-out detailing spot.

Pull-out dates can sneak up fast. Schedule a detailing appointment or text your photos and pull-out timing so we can quote the cleanup before the boat goes under cover for the season.

Online bookings depend on available services and times. A custom quote or preferred date is not confirmed until DockSide agrees to the appointment.

GOOD TO KNOW

Fall pull-out detailing FAQs

Should I detail my boat before or after it comes out of the water?

Either can work depending on the service and access. Pull-out can make some hull and pontoon areas easier to reach. Tell us when your boat is coming out and where it will be available.

Do you offer shrink wrapping or mechanical winterization?

No. DockSide focuses on detailing, cleaning and finish care. Engine winterization, shrink wrapping and mechanical storage preparation should be arranged with a qualified provider.

Can you clean scum lines and stained pontoon tubes?

Yes, those are services DockSide can assess. Heavy waterline buildup and pontoon acid washing are quoted based on material, condition, access and the work needed.

Do I need wax or oxidation correction before storage?

Not every boat needs correction. Waxing can be quoted as protective care, while buffing, polishing and oxidation removal are separate steps for a faded or chalky finish. We will assess the boat before recommending those services.

How do you price a fall pull-out detail?

There is no one-size-fits-all seasonal price. We quote based on boat length, condition, access, requested interior or exterior work and any added correction or pontoon cleaning.
